Business Enablers
LifeCache Astra Business Enablers support customized integration into operators' Business Support Systems (BSS) and provide a single point of integration for customer provisioning, billing and reporting.
Network Interfaces
LifeCache Astra Network Interfaces provide deep integration into carrier core networks to support all the LifeCache user content services. Reliable and scalable network integration can be reused by multiple LifeCache services, reducing overall solution complexity and total cost of ownership.
Search
LifeCache Astra Search delivers a highly scalable search capability that gives users a simple and powerful way to find the content they are looking for.
Content Ingestion
LifeCache Astra Content Ingestion encompasses content upload, moderation, filtering and in addition, manages business rules for premium and user generated content.
Content Adaptation
LifeCache Astra Content Adaptation provides mechanisms for optimizing the delivery of user content, including image and video content to any type of device such as computers, mobile devices, set-top boxes as well as new breeds of devices such as netbooks and household organizers.
Storage Abstraction
LifeCache Astra Storage Abstraction is designed to enable operators to use best of breed storage hardware from multiple vendors. Our modular approach enables the operator to scale in line with usage and to use the most appropriate storage strategy for each service.
Systems Platform
LifeCache Astra Systems Platform is designed from the bottom up to ensure reliability and uptime through geo-redundancy, virtualization and load balancing.
NewBay Service Environment
The NewBay Service Environment (NSE) is a binary contract between operator system platforms and NewBay LifeCache products, which enables telco-grade operations and support functions while allowing the operator to rapidly deploy new and upgraded consumer services.
