My background

I was born in Poland and have been living in Ireland since Jan 2007. I spent the last 8.5 years working as a Senior Software Architect in one of the biggest software companies in Poland.

My job at NewBay

I initially started as a Senior Developer and having worked in that role for 1.5 years, I was promoted to my current position as Lead Software Engineer where I am Technical Leader in UGC/SNG based projects.

Why I chose NewBay

I came to Ireland to meet people from all over the world and given the diversity, NewBay is the perfect place for that. After working for more than 8 years in one company I also needed new challenges especially in a different country, different culture etc. NewBay also gave me the opportunity to improve my IT skills and to continuously increase my technical knowledge.

What I most enjoy

I enjoy working on a variety of projects and also the people I work with make the job even better. As a Software Engineer, it is important for me to continuously develop myself, to learn the newest technologies and to work on very advanced high-scalable server-side software solutions. My motto is 'Less is More' and every day, I strive to show my teammates that this motto helps to create high-quality software.

Advice to perspective employees

If you are a Software Developer then NewBay is a perfect battle field for you :) Even as an experienced developer, I have gained a wide variety of new skills and because NewBay is one step ahead in the latest technologies, I am still learning.
