Marie Doran is Financial Controller of NewBay Software.

Before joining NewBay, Marie spent fourteen years as CFO of a venture capital funded printing company. She joined during the company's start up phase and was responsible for implementing fundamental accounts principles, controls and structures and introducing management information systems to facilitate both organic and acquisition driven growth. As part of the senior management team, Marie was involved in strategic decision-making and company policy setting. She had responsibility for finance, information technology and administration systems. Her remit also included supplier relationship management, investment appraisal, securing finance and building relationships with financial institutions. The company operated in a global marketplace, where intense competition imposed tight margins. Marie gained extensive experience in added value and productivity improvement, information and communications management, cost control and the successful deployment of world class business techniques.

Marie is a qualified Certified Accountant (FCCA) and holds a Diploma in Management from NCI, Dublin.
