LifeCache™ Connect is a suite of SDKs that pro­vide handset developers with a high-level and modular architecture for developing applications against the NewBay LifeCache ecosystem. This allows develop­ers to easily combine LifeCache products and ser­vices, which encompass Social Networking, Messag­ing, Media Management and Storage, and add them into applications for the connected device market.

By providing client modules and APIs, LifeCache Connect simplifies integration with LifeCache products and services, allowing developers to focus on the unique User Experience and business logic within their applications. LifeCache Connect, therefore, allows richly-featured applications to be developed rapidly and easily.

The LifeCache Connect Android Service (LCAS) provides a dedicated LifeCache Connect SDK for the Android platform that has been carefully designed to integrate with the Android architecture and its devel­opment concepts.

LCAS consists of:

• A suite of Android APIs, applications and ser­vices packaged into APKs for easy deployment
• A development kit with extensive documentation and sample projects

LCAS comes with 3 Product modules:

• LifeCache Connect Auth (ATP)
• LifeCache Connect Social Networking Gateway (SNG)
• LifeCache Connect Notifier (BPP Module)
