Description
NewBay is currently recruiting a Director of Market Development responsible for managing a team of sales executives focused on developing new markets within the EMEA region. This is a senior role that requires the person to use their extensive sales, technical and sales management skills to develop and execute a sales plan for each of the nominated markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strong leadership and ability to lead a team of market development sales executives to implement plans and achieve sales objectives for both new and existing accounts.
  • Ability to clearly identify and prioritize market opportunities and direct the team to successfully achieve goals.
  • Direct responsibility for managing and achieving sales quota for nominated accounts within the overall team objective.
  • Provide input to the global sales management and strategic development programs.
  • Maintain detailed account plans and pipeline management reporting to assist in efficient sales forecasting.

Requirements
  • 5-7yrs + experience selling software solutions into telecommunication operator industry, with a minimum of 2yrs sales management experience within the mobile sector.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas both personal and team. Preference given to background in high end mission critical software application sales.
  • Extensive experience in key account strategic planning and team management.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to present to CXX level in key accounts. Fluent English is required.
  • Third level Degree required

Remuneration
The remuneration package will reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate. The package will consist of an attractive basis salary, company bonus program together with benefits that include PRSA matching, discounted VHI or Quinn as well as other company benefits as offered.
