I was studying for a Master Diploma in Computer Science simultaneously with as Bachelors Degree and completed these in the same year. My first Job was Analyst Programmer using Oracle V7. My job at NewBay I joined NewBay as Oracle Database Administrator. My work here includes support and maintainance of Oracle Databases for Mobile Operators in Europe & US. Why I chose NewBay I always wanted to work for a Mobile Technology companies like NewBay to get experience in supporting massive databases and to increasing my Oracle skill set, working with the most up to date Oracle systems. I gained most of my experience in supporting Financial Accounting databases and I chose to join NewBay to enhance my domain knowledge about Mobile Technology Platforms. What I most enjoy? The exposure I get to Oracle has really helped me develop my knowledge in this area. I also get the chance to enhance my knowledge of operating systems such as Solaris all of our Oracle databases run on Solaris. Advice to perspective employees If you are an Oracle DBA, looking for a company, where you can learn more about Oracle and Operating systems, and enhance your career path, then NewBay is the place for you.  back
