home > about us > careers > our people > hugh mooney  Hugh Mooney (Deployment Manager) I attended University of Ulster where I studied Computing Science and earned a Bachelors Degree in 2000. I also studied Telecomunications & Distributed Systems and earned a Masters Degree in 2001. Prior to joining Newbay Software Ltd, I served as Solutions Delivery Services Lead for several years as part of the Operations Delivery organisation at Redknee. Prior to that I was an Operations Engineer at Logica Mobile Networks (now LogicaCMG). My job at NewBay I am currently Deployment Manager at Newbay Software Ltd. My core expertise includes solution deployment, technical design, technical service integration and project planning. Why I chose NewBay I need to feel challenged where I work and joining NewBay at its first major growth spurt really appealed to me. The challenge came in working in an evolving technology company where I have the opportunity to help drive its growth and success. What I most enjoy The challenge! Advice to perspective employees In the technology sector today it's survival of the fittest. NewBay has survived its first major growth spurt and continues to improve. The speed of our growth is mirrored by hard work of all those on the team. It's not utopia - no job is. It's a challenge, it's exciting and it's got the potential to be as much a force in the mobile sector as Google is in the field of 'Search'.  back
