LG’s Social+ has gone truly global!

Customer Case Study: NewBay-powered Social Networking Service for LG Reaches 220 Operators in 91 Countries

In less than 2 months since it launched, LG’s Voyager handset has gone truly global as the stats below illustrate. NewBay’s LifeCache Social Networking Gateway (SNG) powers the LG Voyager Social+ service, which provides social networking activity feeds in both app and widget form on the main screen of LG Voyager handsets. NewBay’s LifeCache SNG also powers the aggregated social networking service for most other LG smartphones, including the Optimus models.

With Social+, end-users can post status updates, Like and comment on different activities. The pre-embedded service supports both Facebook and Twitter, so that users don’t have to download additional apps.
