Unified Cloud Messaging Architecture
Text (SMS) and picture message (MMS) storage is implemented via network-initiated interception of message traffic as it passes through the network. The Unified Cloud Messaging solution is designed to support multiple strategies for network copy including SMPP Intercept, SIGTRAN Intercept and third-party netcopy, and is based on a parallel delivery model for messages.
Once the SMS and MMS messages have been intercepted, they are stored and exposed to users via client interfaces. MMS Network integration is affected by standard MMSC integration points including MM4 and MM7.
